The Souper Market concept was fairly simple.  Find a niche concept, package it to appeal to everyone, do it, and do it REALLY well.  I will say this, only because it is often asked:  No, I did not get the idea from the television show Seinfeld, therefore, I am not the Soup Nazi.  I'm actually much more friendly!

SouperMarket was born from discovering the unique niche that, at that time, did not have much of a presence in Cleveland's food scene:  soup, or a "soup house", specializing in creating beautifully hand-crafted soups, stocks, salad dressings, and basically anything liquid!  It's all made from scratch,  always using the finest ingredients we can obtain, and it all starts with our stocks.  Our soups are hand-made the classic way, by simmering the bones and meats of chicken, beef, and fish with vegetables and herbs for various amounts of time, thereby creating a rich broth used as the base for all of our soups and sauces. This is what a stock is!  Our vegetable stock is 100% vegan. There are no additives or preservatives in any of our stocks, they are all gluten free, and they are extremely low sodium.  We do not add salt to any of our stocks.  This is the foundation for most of our wonderful soups, and believe me, you can tell the difference!  Tasting the difference goes for everything else we make at the SouperMarket, from our soups, to our unique array of salads, salad dressings, and vinaigrettes.  When you take the time to do something right, you do it well, with dedication and conviction, and as I said before - "Do it REALLY well", then your end result will sell itself.  People can see and taste the difference, and the result for us, is award winning soups for 10+ years in a row, and a loyal and amazing fan base.  If you haven't already stopped in to see for yourself, do so soon!  You won't regret your decision!

Our regular menu changes with the seasons. We attempt to utilize ingredients that are obtainable for a particular season. In the Fall and Winter we will have heartier soups and lighten up on the salads a bit. In the Spring and Summer we will have lighter soups and will have a greater selection of salads. We will always offer chilled soups in the Summer and continue to be creative with our recipes as our repertoire grows continuously!  You can purchase our stock by the quart or by the gallon frozen. Our dressings and vinaigrettes can be purchased by the pint, all fresh and hand-made in house.  In the future, we hope to be part of farmer's markets and local groceries.  Until then, enjoy our products form one of our three current locations.  See you soon!
